Qi Mu Space is an artistic space that has long existed in the hearts of its creators; it does not have to be tangible, but it needs to perfect itself in action. It is not meant to explore the unknown possibility, but contains everything in itself, just like the inner being of every human. It does not accept post-modern intellectual games, nihilism and deconstruction, and the resulting piling up of events or ideas. It is pursuing its own identity, as everyone else wishes to do. Because of this, it is not necessarily the most liberated, but the most natural, and it believes in the inner path rather than the external regulation.

The first exhibition at Qi Mu Space presents other inner spaces that happen to meet here, and the way they are reproduced by the works. Pieces from two artists (Gao Weigang and Zheng Lu) and an architectural team (Unaware Architects). Both artists work on the theme of space, and more importantly, they pursue the unity of form and spirit, highlighting the perception of the self and the viewer, allowing the intuition of the body and mind to replace the interpretation of concepts, and entering into the tangible space while entering into their own inner being. Unaware Architects has always created space from an architectural perspective, full of warmth and a desire to get closer to all who enter the space, and the only viable way to do so is to get closer to oneself first, as is the inevitable path of all art.
