QIMU SPACE

QI MU SPACE aims to showcase artists and their works that vibrate with creative ideas and remarkable vitality in contemporary China. While exploring the multiplicity of visual art and putting them in practice, it supports artists in their analysis and experiment of different “spaces", and above all, their visual research and creation in spaces, social or natural.

Open to exhibitions in public, it accepts exhibition proposals from artists, curators, as well as research organizations. Since its opening in November 2016, it has put on display a number of space-specific works by artists, curators, as well as architects.

After the completion of the first phase in the art space in Songzhuang Art Zone, QI MU SPACE opened its new venue in 751 Art Zone this summer. It will be committed to supporting young artists and putting into tentative practice the possibility of integrated development of contemporary art in multiple fields.
